Minutes, South Hero Recreation Commission monthly meeting
Thursday, May 19, 2016, 7:00 at South Hero town offices
1) Last minutes unanimously approved
2) New Business
A) Safe Bikers reward citations — Thomas will contact Allenholm to arrange for cards to be redeemed for Maple Creamies. Allenholm will honor cards to be awarded by Rec Commissioners to cyclists who are caught riding safely (10 cards per Commissioner). We will repay Allenholm for the value of the cards/creamies.
B) Walking Trail on East Shore Winery land and previous Town Dump site to connect with present Landon Farm trail — proposed partnering with SH Land Trust. It was brought up that the private property rights of those owners adjacent to right of way is frequently violated, even abused. This brings the above-mentioned plan into question.
