A) Open house to show the public the fitness equipment which has been installed on the recreation path behind Folsom School. We decided to do the open house in conjunction with “Trunk or Treat”on October 31 as suggested by Selectboard member, Ann Zolotas.. Carol will buy 10-20 small solar lights to light up the pathway to the equipment and put an announcement in the Islander and Front Porch Forum. Mike will set up his large solar light on the hill to highlight the equipment. Dave will buy the cider and donuts to give out at the event.
B) 2015-16 Ski Program- Maia Jensen is running this program and it will be at Smuggs again as last year and it is running along smoothly.
5. Old Business:
A) Fall Soccer program- Ended on October 10 and was held at Folsom School on Saturdays. Many children participated and had a good time.
B) Vtrans Grant Approved- A steering committee has been formed to make sure the Pedestrian Crossing Device is installed according to the specifications. The committee is:
Rec Committee representatives- Karin and Dave, Selectboard Rep- Carol and Highway Dept Rep- John Roy.  The committee meetings will be set by Karin and she will contact those involved.
C) White’s Beach- Swimming area floats were brought to shore by Carol and grandkids and Mike will transport them to the town garage as in previous years. Sharon Roy contacted the Portalet company and it has been removed.  Mike has installed the 2 new grills and they look great! They are on swivels so can be turned to avoid the wind.  He used 5 bags of concrete and they are installed 4 feet deep so seem pretty secure.
6. Old Business: None
